Best Practice for the academic year 2023-24

“Nurture the Class Leadership”

The Department of Commerce has initiated a program named Nurture the Class Leadership and started the best practice of awarding cash prize to Best Class Representative every year. The qualities of the selected CRs are discussed with the class and students are advised to select a role model to follow and develop the leadership traits.

Best Practice for the academic year 2024-25

“Beyond the Academics – Professional Certifications”

Now a days skill gap is the major reason for unemployability among the educated youth. Students need to acquire professional knowledge to stay competitive in the job market. In this connection, the Department has initiated a program to encourage the students to complete the professional knowledge programs to stay competitive in this AI driven world.

As part of this program students were encouraged to participate in the Salesforce free certification program for AI Specialist and AI Associate and handholding is done and materials shared for preparation for the exam. Students getting registered for the program and appearing for online exam in April 2025.
