RRC - Profile

The Red Ribbon Club at Government Degree College, Pithapuram, is an initiative under the Government of India’s program to raise awareness about HIV/AIDS among college students. It aims to educate youth on prevention methods, reduce stigma surrounding the disease, and promote healthy lifestyles. The club actively engages students through activities like awareness campaigns, rallies, and voluntary blood donation drives. It also fosters peer education, encouraging members to spread knowledge about sexual health and community service. This movement at the college contributes to building a socially responsible and informed student community.
